On Wed. Sept 20. the Rt. Hon. Sir Simon Burns discussed the UK’s decision to leave the UK, the key issues in the Brexit negotiations and the place of the U.S. in the UK’s thinking. He spoke to about 100 faculty and students across two classes.
Sir Simon retired as the Member of Parliament for Chelmsford after 30 years at the May General Election. During his long career in public service he was UK Minister for Health and a minister in the Department for Transport.
