Alasdair Young and Scott Brown represented Georgia Tech at the second coordination meeting of Jean Monnet projects in the US. Dr. Young, as chair of the European Union Studies Association, also chaired the meeting. Representatives from 14 other US universities participated in the meetings held at the EU Delegation to the US. In addition to discussing how to enhance our cooperation and improve our social media presence, the group received several briefings from officials in the Delegation, which focused on the prospects for transatlantic relations under the Trump administration. The picture shows the participants with the EU’s Deputy Ambassador, Caroline Vincini. More photos are available here.
