A Workshop for Advanced PhD Students and Early-Career Researchers
Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel
8 May 2019
CETS, in conjunction with the University of Pittsburgh’s European Studies Center and the European Union Studies Association, organized a one-day professional development workshop for advanced PhD students and early-career researchers. The seven paper authors came from Cambridge University, Florida International University, Georgia Tech, Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) Munich, and the University of Pittsburgh.
This intense workshop replicated the refereeing process with all participants serving as both referee and refereed. There was a Q&A session with journal editors and a lunch-time round-table with leading scholars providing advice on career development and how to make the most of the conference.
The workshop was generously supported by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme and by the U.S. Department of Education’s Title VI Program.
